Congratulations to Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool for receiving its third consecutive Ofsted Outstanding rating and becoming one of the only settings in Oxfordshire to retain the highest award under tougher Ofsted guidelines introduced last year.
The Ofsted inspector described the setting as “a brilliant place for children to start their education” and “a wonderland of interesting and challenging activities” where “not a moment of learning time is wasted.”
Nikki Durkin, Nursery Manager, said: “My team work incredibly hard, they are so dedicated and love the children. They deserve every accolade they receive. I’m so proud Ofsted agree that they are Outstanding.”
Culham Science Centre Nursery & Preschool recently expanded to accommodate 144 children and provides a diverse and multicultural learning environment to reflect our on site community and those living nearby.
The Ofsted Outstanding rating is a testament to the professional and passionate team, many of whom have been working at the setting for over ten years.
