On Wednesday January 22nd 2014, Culham Science Centre is hosting an evening event, organised and run by Rufilla Ltd, designed to bring together a variety of people working with and interested in the Internet of Things.

The Internet of Things is billed as the ‘Next Big Technology’ – 2014 is the year when it’s expected to really take off. Smart homes, smart sensors, smart networks, smart energy… an interconnected future!

Industry pundits estimate that over seven trillion internet-enabled smart devices will be used by 2020. IoT Meetups exist in key places in the world: London, New York, Los Angeles…. and now IoT Oxford!

Based at Culham Science Centre, IoT Oxford is a new meetup for everyone at all interested or taking part in this new area. We aim for great speakers and demonstrations covering a wide range of topics.
